MOBILE SAFARIS.
Picture
Mobile safaris are just that, MOBILE. Moving between areas where one generally spends between three to four nights in each area before moving on to the next. This gives your party a chance to really observe each regions wildlife and landscape distinctions.
These safaris can combine vehicles, boats and lodge stays.
Once you are settled in camp, your schedule will be open enough that you may choose how much or how little you want to do each day. Aside from moving to your next camp destination you have no set schedule to keep, and together with your guide you will plan each day as it comes to you.
Our expert safari cook’s offer a variety of delicious “bush cuisine” including fresh bread which is baked daily, all on an open fire.
Why a mobile safari?
" Mobile safaris are the most eco friendly form of tourism. When we move camp sites the only thing we leave behind are foot prints.
" Mobile safaris are a personal safari, where you have your own camp, plan your days with your guide and have the freedom to come and go as and when you like.
" These safaris have to be regulated to ensure strict conservation of Botswana's protected areas. So camp sites are pre-booked months, even years in advance and to ensure privacy, camp sites are reserved for just one operator at a time.
" Mobile safaris are not for everyone but if you would like to get to experience true africa with your feet on the ground, not on a wooden deck or have special interests like birding or photography this is for you.
